Personaly I prefer to hold my gold in physical form.
Philadelphia Stock Exchange Gold and Silver Index aka. XAU
is not the safest form in a worst case scenario.IMO
In physical form I can bury it & retrieve later.
In the form of stocks,it is the same as paper money in a collapse,it becomes worthless.

But thats just me and I am of an odd sort,one could say,
and I DONT SEE A WORST CASE SCENARIO on the horizon,but like to keep a step ahead of the games that could be pulled by CONTROLERS the system/market if it collapsed.

I dont trust stocks,since the word stock is also used to denote the wood potion of a military rifle,If you understand my meaning.

I am glad to see the/your Xau soar though,thanks tonyc for the update.
