How Much Should I Pay Per Pennyweight?

Hey There! I recently opened a pawn shop and i just want some feedback regarding gold prices. I'm currently paying approx $7.00 a pennyweight but i have a hard time selling. Any ideas or feedback would be great. Thanks!
